The Space Bead Maze Table features an exploration themed wire maze table. Suitable for 3 to 5 children to play with at any one time. Great for exercising fine motor skills. The Space Bead Maze Table features lots of bright coloured wire mazes and beads for children over the age of 2 years to explore. Move the beads along the wire lengths from start to finish and back again, using problem solving skills to work the beads through the maze. This resource is also great for children to explore early years maths skills including the recognition and naming of colours. It’s also a fun activity for the development of social skills with children working alongside their peers. Team work and communication skills are used as children negotiate and navigate the beads through the maze, working to prevent traffic jams of beads, or the muddle up of arms as children move their way across the maze table. Children’s patience and persistence are also encouraged as they focus their attention on the task at hand, trying out their problem solving skills to find new ways of working the beads through the maze when something doesn’t work the first time.
