This compact stacking bed is a sturdy option for the classroom. This lightweight and durable bed measures 101.5(W) x 58.5(D) x 15(H)cm and is very compact when stacked. Durable plastic and a lightweight metal frame ensure this stacking bed is strong and provides a firm support for sleeping children.
We recommend 20 beds as the optimal stacking height. Each bed weighs approximately 3.5 kilograms and it suited to hold up to 50kg.
These compact beds fit underneath our range of SafeSpace cots. SST131 Ergo Cot fits 6 compact beds (without the castors), SST132 Compact Cot fits 2 compact beds (without the castors) and SST113 Evac Cot fits 6 compact beds (without the castors).
Using a combination of PVC (70%) and polyester (30%) for the woven mat makes it non-porous so it will not absorb liquid. It has holes for breathability which help to keep the child cool on the bed. The holes also allow for any liquids to pass through the mattress and away from the child, helping to keep the child from being soiled.
The sleeping mat is held in place with velcro. To clean, disassemble this bed and wash with a gentle detergent and water. Dry in the shade.
