Wooden Outdoor Pan Scales & Weighted Fraction Block

This kit consists of one set of outdoor pan scales (TEB6265) and one set of wooden weighted fraction blocks (TEB6266).This outdoor pan balance (TEB6265) is made from sustainable eucalyptus wood and brings maths outdoors! Explore with the weight of objects found in nature, such as stones and sticks and place them on the pans. The scales measure 65cm high with a base of 65 x 22cm. The arm length is 65cm.These wooden fraction blocks (TEB6266) can be used in combination with the pan scales and allow students to practise with mass inquiries as well as fractions at the same time! The 1/1 block is twice as heavy as the 1/2 block, and the 1/2 block is again twice as heavy as the 1/4 block, etc. The largest block is 8 x 8 x 4cm.
