Wooden Ten Frame Tray

This wooden tens frame tray will help children to develop an early understanding of counting, addition and subtraction in a highly visual and tactile way. Explore, learn and practise number bonds to 10 using real objects that attract their interest. Ten frames are a great resource to practise counting in 5s and 2s.

Ten frames are 2 x 5 rectangular trays in which you can place counters to illustrate numbers up to 10. Students will be able to visualise addition and subtraction, which helps them to build a strong foundation for mental equations, as well as place value. By combining multiple trays, students can explore either numbers beyond 10.

This specially designed ten frame tray is made from sustainably sourced and FSC approved beech wood and measures 38 x 15.5 x 2cm. The illustrated accessories are not included. Use the tray with counters, or bring the tray with you on a field trip and select natural counters.
